Albert Gore Research Center Blog

This is the main blog for the Gore Center, where the staff and graduate students post updates about major projects, share primary source material from our collections, and explore topics in public history.

Women of Middle Tennessee State University

Casey Gymrek, Gore Center graduate assistant 2014-2016, built this website on the role of women at MTSU “from dress codes to advocacy.” She used material from the June Anderson Papers and other University Archives to conduct her research.

Murfreesboro Monuments

Spring 2019 MTSU Digital History students Alissa Kane, Keneisha Mosley, Md. Pervejur Rahaman, and Max Farley created this website that documents and maps Murfreesboro’s monuments, which sheds light on local history and sets a foundation for future researchers.
