Biographical Note: Buleah Davis was a student at MTSU (then State Teachers College) from 1933 to 1936. She returned to MTSU as an instructor of health and physical education. She taught at MTSU from 1946 until 1980.

Scope and Content: The Buleah Davis Papers consist of teaching materials used by Davis in her classes, including eight folders on folk and square dancing and one folder on dance patterns. Also included are 80 slides related to MTSU history and Davis's work at the university.

1972 March; “A collection of the descriptions of folk dances,”a course packet created by Gretel and Paul Dunsing. The packet includes information on the origins of each dance, dance patterns, and music suggestions for folk dances, primarily international folk dances from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

1959; “A pandect of folk dances for the Oak Ridge Folk Dancers,” a course packet of inernational folk dances, compiled by Kenneth S. Warren and Milton Blander. The packet includes information on the history of each dance and instructional dance patterns.
